Do the bean bag chairs meet US Flammability and Safety Standards?
AHH: We meet UFAC class1, California TB 117E, California TB 117A.3, and CSPC Zipper Enclosure standards. We also started our law label program in 2007, legally required by individual U.S. states.

AHH: Our bean bags are assembled in and shipped from Fairfax, Virginia. We have local seamstresses and employ local "bean bag technicians".

Can you easily remove and wash the bean bag cover? Be careful - some companies say "remove & wash" cover, but they don't mention that you have to take out some of the filling to do this.
AHH: All Ahh bean bag chairs have covers that are easy to remove and wash in your household washing machine.

What are the filling options? The filling pellets should be very small, anything pea-sized or larger may be lumpy and will deflate faster.
AHH: Our virgin bead filling is comprised of 3mm wide, smooth, and perfectly round "bb's". Our regular reground filling is mainly 3-4mm wide, almost-round "bb's". Reground has some occasional chunks of "bb's" stuck together.

If comparing to a foam chair, is the foam easy to re-fluff? We've sold replacement filling to customers to completely change out their foam filling because they say it is very hard to re-fluff a foam chair that has become compacted.
AHH: We do not offer foam chairs. They are too "pillow-y" and do not feel like bean bags to us.

Do you get discounts on refill?
AHH: Ahh Spot bean bag owners get $30 off any size refill for a lifetime (you should not need to buy refill more than once).

Are bean bag seams hidden and double-stitched for a high-end finished look? Or are they on the outside and easy to see?
AHH: Ahh Spot bean bags double seams will never break and are the most stylish in the industry...as attested to by interior decorators worldwide.

Is there an inner liner bag to hold the filling so you can remove and wash the cover?
AHH: Of course!

Is the inner liner bag super-strong PLUS water-repellent PLUS made of light-weight microfiber? Most, if not all other companies use poly/cotton or cotton liners.
AHH: We are the first company with a water-repel liner made of microfiber. "Weatherproof" coats are often made of the same material that we use. Our liners will never rip or split or wear-out, yet are lightweight...even if they are used as landing pads. (Not that we advise that!)

Does the inner liner bag have a child-resistant zipper that can be opened and relocked to refill?
AHH: Our zippers are YKK, best in the business. They open and relock easily with a paperclip, and comply with US Consumer Safety Product Commission guidelines.

AHH: Yes, barring issues that we cannot control (weather, FedEx delays, etc.). (Name personalizations require up to 5 days.)

Are there lots of fabrics and colors to choose from?
AHH: We have denims, cottons, anti-pill fleece, faux suedes, velvets, chenilles, faux furs...in solid colors and prints, for kids and adults! Best style selection in the world. All are high quality, washable, and covered by our 10 year warranty.

Are bean bag covers sold separately?
AHH: Every bean bag style we offer can be purchased as a separate cover if that's all you need to refresh an old bean bag.

Are bean bag liners sold separately?
AHH: You won't need to replace our super-strong liners, but in case you have a cheap liner from another company you need to replace.

Are bean bag "cores" (liners with filling) sold separately?
AHH: Again, you won't need to replace our strong core, but in case you have a cheap core from another company that fell apart.

Is custom ordering available?
AHH: Yes, we will make a bean bag for you, complete with a cover made with your fabric and a liner and filling. And, instead of charging more for a custom order, we charge less (so you have money leftover to buy your fabric). It takes less than 3 business days for us to make it!

Can you get unlimited free fabric samples to see and feel?
AHH: In fact, we're the first to offer this service! Totally free, no-obligation, as many as you want.

Are gift services and gift certificates available?
AHH: Gift certificates as low as $1.00. Ask us to include a special note with your gift order shipped directly to your recipient with no pricing information. Gift orders are covered by our warranty and receive our $30 lifetime discount on refill.

How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
AHH: 10 years, covers every part of the bean bag, except defated filling (see our refill discount). We will repair or replace to your satisfaction. Since 1998, we have received only 5 warranty claims, mostly for a zipper problem which was fixed when we changed zipper manufacturers.
