AHH Bean Bag Chairs Grand ReOpening New Site Launch

Woo Hoo!  Yesterday we launched our brand new website.  It's been a while in the making.  When we opened in 1998, our site was pretty basic with a handful of bean bag chairs offered.  A couple years later, having outgrown that first simple website, we created another one.  This time, with a lot more information and way more bean bags to choose from.  Well, we had been hanging on to that website for yikes, over a decade now!  And it had served us well. But, we starting thinking a couple years ago that we needed a facelift.  That seemed like such a daunting task since no one here is a computer genius.  We just like making and selling awesome bean bags and talking to cool customers.

Finally, for 2012, we got off the proverbial couch and went for it.  Starting in April 2012, we met with web designers and began designing the new site.  This included making it more fresh, contemporary, and clean.  We wanted it to be easy-to-use, and self-explanatory.  We still wanted to offer the same level of detailed information about our products, services, and company, but in a more organized way.  Plus, we wanted to make it way easier to find and purchase a bean bag chair.  Sometimes you just know what you want and don't need to read a bunch of stuff, right?  And other times, you want all the nitty gritty so you know exactly what you're getting down to the bean.  We also wanted a similar color palette, but again, more fresh and cool.  Plus, although we loved our logo (which by the way was created by the company owner as she was driving and got inspired by a pedestrian walking sign!), we wanted to update it a bit.

So, after months of working with computer guys and gals and getting our thoughts all organized, the site was built.  It wasn't exactly painless, and everyone involved definitely put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (well, at least the sweat part during the summer).  What we have now is exactly what we envisioned.  Now we just need to get the word out!
